about words

Original, entertaining experiences, polished down to the last detail, and never tied to a single genre.

About us

Who we are and how we work.

Dozy Duck is a small independent studio. Behind it there is a small team that designs, develops and polishes every project from start to finish, while listening to the community that follows us.

We like making games from our own ideas, and exploring each concept until we have seen everything it can give. Sometimes we go after a specific mechanic and build the game around it. Other times we simply want to make something fun and look after it properly.

We are not the kind to stay in a single genre. We can make platformers, puzzles, action, stealth, games in 2D, in 3D, or even something we do not yet know what to call. Each project can be different from the last, and that is precisely part of what we enjoy.

01

Games come first

We try out every mechanic and every idea to see whether it really adds something to the game. If it works, we keep building on it. If it does not, we change it or drop it.

02

We like trying things

Not everything works the first time. We try ideas, make changes, and quite often the game ends up rather different from how it started.

03

Community

We like listening to the people who play our games, and finding out what works, what does not and what could be better. Whenever we can, we make the community part of development.

04

No fixed genre

We do not want to always make the same thing. If an idea seems interesting, it does not matter whether it is a puzzle, a platformer, something with action or anything else. We try it and see how far it can go.
