Privacy policy

We handle your data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018. Here is exactly what we collect and why.

Data controller

Contact email: dozyduckgames@gmail.com

What we collect

Contact form: the name and email you type, the subject you pick, the full text of your message, the page language and the date of submission.

Newsletter: your email address, the language and the sign-up date.

Anti-abuse protection: to limit how many submissions come from one place we do not store your IP address, but a code derived from it using a keyed cryptographic function. The IP cannot be recovered from that code. It is deleted automatically after 7 days.

We use no analytics, no advertising and no profiling. There is no cross-site tracking.

What we use it for

To answer what you write to us, to send you the newsletter if you subscribed, and to stop bots from abusing the form.

We do not sell your data or share it for commercial purposes.

Legal basis

Your consent when you submit the form or subscribe, which you can withdraw at any time.

Our legitimate interest in protecting the site against automated submissions, for the anti-abuse measures.

Who else handles your data

These providers act on our behalf so the site can work:

Our hosting provider, which stores the database and the site files, with servers in the European Union.

Google (Gmail), which sends the form notifications and where the messages we receive are stored, as it is our mailbox.

Cloudflare, Inc., which provides the Turnstile anti-bot check on the form. To confirm you are a person, Turnstile receives your IP address and technical data about your browser. Cloudflare is a US company, so an international data transfer takes place; the applicable safeguards are set out in their own policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

How long we keep it

Form messages, for as long as they remain useful to handle your enquiry and document what was discussed.

Newsletter data, until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Signing up requires confirming from an email we send you: unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days.

Anti-abuse codes, 7 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to port it. Just write to dozyduckgames@gmail.com saying what you want to exercise.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
