dd-lang (our own cookie, 1 year). Remembers whether you prefer the site in Spanish or English, so you are not sent to the wrong language on every visit.
dd-cookie-notice (browser local storage). Remembers that you have already seen the notice on this page, so we do not repeat it.
Neither identifies you nor is used to follow your activity.
Turnstile, the anti-bot check
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from bots. It may use technical storage in your browser during that check.
It is an essential security measure: without it the form fills with spam, as already happened. That is why it does not depend on your prior consent, in the same way a firewall does not.
Why we do not ask for permission
The law only requires consent for storage that is not strictly necessary: analytics, advertising or tracking. Since we use none of that, there is nothing to accept or reject, which is why the notice on the site is informational.
If we ever add analytics, a real consent request will appear and this page will be updated.
How to delete them
You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. The site will keep working: it will just forget your preferred language.
